All You Need To Know
What is Your Return Policy?
All items order from our website www.thebirthdaydesigner.com, social media sites, 3rd party applications, fairs, 3rd party vendors, our sister site www.mycakesmash.com or in person through one of our kiosks all fall under the same refund policy. We do not take returns of personalized products. Please read all descriptions of each product that you wish to order thoroughly. We do not guarantee that our items will be exactly the same in the pictures. All items are custom made by hand and sometimes the same material used in the photograph might not be available for your design. Please reach out ahead of time if this is a concern for you. We love to answer any and all questions.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR DAMAGED PRODUCTS?
If UPS, USPS, FED EX, or the local shipping company damages the parcel in transit, please take pictures upon receipt of the item, with the item still in packaging. Send pictures to returns@thebirthdaydesigner.com, along with a detailed explanation of damages. Videos are even better. We will then decide if a refund shall be issued or not. If the value of the package was worth more then $150 you will need to file a claim as well on the shipping companies website.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK AN EVENT?
All events require a 50% non-refundable retainer due at booking. Client must complete the birthday party contract to secure the event date. Do not complete contract unless you are 100% sure all details are accurate to the best of your knowledge. All remaining payments are due no later than two weeks before the scheduled event date.
WHAT ARE IN-PERSON SERVICES?
In Person Services are any purchases made that our staff has to go to your set location to assist you with your event. This includes event planning, event designing, vendor selection, venue selection, rehersals, balloon garland installation. This does not include delivery of said product or rental item.
